As a Virtual Assistant in Fort Worth I’m always thrilled to receive recommendations from clients, peers, and vendors. They are a wonderful validation of our working life and a good way to show potential clients that others are happy with our work.
The challenge is soliciting recommendations, fortunately LinkedIn offers a solution! By having a profile on LinkedIn your colleagues can post recommendations to your profile, and you in turn, can post recommendations on theirs. The BEST part is LinkedIn recommendations are VALIDATED! Have you ever seen a recommendation that is signed semi-anonymously, e.g., “Sally in Florida” and wondered if there really is a “Sally in Florida”? LinkedIn solves that problem!
