It’s offi­cial — I’m hooked on Word­Press! After con­vert­ing my site to Word­Press, attend­ing Word­Camp Dal­las ’09, and sev­eral of Tony Cecala’s Word­Press Meetup’s I’m hooked. So much so many of my clients have requested Word­Press sites to show­case their businesses.

Here is the first site I built for a client:

Di Ann Sanchez, the owner of DAS HR Con­sult­ing, has com­pletely embraced the spirit of blog­ging. She raves about how much she enjoys writ­ing for her blog, and using it to dis­sem­i­nate crit­i­cal infor­ma­tion to her clients.

After set­ting up her site, we spent an after­noon train­ing Di Ann on how to cre­ate, edit, and post her own con­tent. I believe this trans­fer of knowl­edge is crit­i­cal to the long-term suc­cess of Di Ann’s blog; not only does it give her con­trol over her pro­fes­sional image online, but it brings her closer to her clients because she can “talk directly to them” through her blog.
