I switched my theme to Thesis several months ago and I just LOVE it! It’s one of the most customizable WordPress themes on the market, and a must for anyone who wants to create a unique looking site without knowing a ton of html codes, or having to modify the CSS (cascading style sheet).
That’s not to say that if you like playing with html and CSS you absolutely can. In fact Thesis even adds several fun hooks that give your site even more pizzazz. My three favorite hooks are:
The ALERT {<p class=”alert”>Your alert text goes here!</p>} puts your text in a cute yellow box.
The NOTE {<p class=”note”>Your note text goes here!</p>} puts your text in a groovy grey box like this one.
And finally, The DROP CAP {<span class=”drop_cap”>X</span>}which makes the first letter of your sentence or any letter of your sentence a “drop cap”.
Thesis has plenty other benefits including advanced SEO, color customization, and Ad Sense integration.
